A woman in a bathrobe laughs at her frizzy morning hair in the mirror

Goodbye to

  • Frizz before a meeting
  • Wrestling a flat iron
  • Brushing, then ironing

Sleek, smooth hair just by brushing it, without the time and fuss of a flat iron.

In 3 steps

How it works

  1. Close-up of the wide bed of black bristles with rounded tips1

    Pick your heat

Switch it on and choose a setting: lower for fine hair, higher for thick.

  2. A woman brushes the heated brush down a section of long, thick dark hair2

    Brush a section

Brush slowly from just below the root down to the ends.

  3. The purple brush on a marble bathroom counter beside a folded towel3

    Repeat and finish

Work around your head, then let the brush cool before you put it away.

The brush held in one hand next to a phone and hair ties on a dresser

Heated bristles

Brush it like always. It comes out sleek.

The bristles sit on a heated base. Brush a section slowly from just below the root to the tips, and the warmth plus the gentle pull of the bristles leaves it smooth and straight. Same motion as brushing: no clamping, no flipping, no awkward angles at the back of your head.

The finish

Smooth and straight, and it still swings

You get sleek, straight hair that still moves, not the very flat, glassy finish of a flat iron. The wide, dense bed of bristles takes a full section with each pass, so your whole head goes quicker than with a slim comb. Thick or curly hair? Use the top setting, take smaller sections and brush slowly.

Questions, answered

Will it get my hair as straight as a flat iron?

Straight and smooth, with a softer finish. You get sleek hair that still moves, not the very flat, glassy look a flat iron gives. Very curly or coarse hair may need a second, slower pass. If you want sleek hair every day without the clamping, this is the easier tool.

Does it work on thick or curly hair?

Yes. Use the highest setting, take smaller sections and brush slowly. Very tight curls may need a second pass.

Will it burn my scalp?

Rounded anti-scald tips sit between the heated base and your skin, but the brush still gets hot. Start just below the roots and keep it off your scalp, ears and neck.

Is it for my whole head or just touch-ups?

Your whole head. The wide bed of heated bristles takes a full section with every pass, so you brush and straighten all your hair at home in one step. For quick fixes on the go, a slim heated comb is handier.

Can I use it on wet hair?

No. Dry your hair first. It's made for dry hair, and water and heat tools don't mix.
